A teenager was killed in a crash that police said was the fault of a drunken driver whose car slammed into a fire hydrant and burst into flames in lower Manhattan early Tuesday.

Gerald Joseph, 22, exited the Manhattan Bridge in Chinatown at high speed at around 1 a.m. and crashed at Bowery and Canal Street so hard, the hydrant was knocked loose, according to authorities.

The car flipped over and caught fire.
