Palo Cedro teen wins statewide PSA contest to stop drugged driving
PALO CEDRO, Calif. — A Palo Cedro teenager won a statewide PSA contest to stop drugged driving. Jasmine Coxey, a junior at Redding Christian High School, won the contest called Drive Safe L.A. In addition to receiving a $2,000 scholarship from the National Road Safety Foundation, Coxey worked with an Emmy-winning TV director to make her idea for a TV PSA into a 30-second spot that will air on more than 160 TV stations nationwide.
